Name Change
The company changed the name of the Knoxville branch to Knoxville Sash & Door. The operations in Memphis and Birmingham are known by such names, Memphis Sash & Door, referred to by builders as Memphis Sash; and Birmingham Sash & Door. According to Ken Hendricks, Chairman, the name better reflects "what we do", mainly assemble and sell windows and doors. Of course the branch also sells columns, railing, balustrades, mouldings and other specialty millwork. The building, trucks and packaging are all being identified with the new name.
An open house is also being held in order to thank existing customers and to encourage all builders to get to know our new facility and great staff. The Knoxville branch, no matter what the name, is staffed by excellent people, many with years and years of experience. We feel certain that experience and dedication to excellence will pay off for Knoxville, says Hendricks.
